Camtech Paternity DNA Test For Home Use
The Camtech Paternity DNA test is a highly accurate and reliable method used to determine the biological relationship between an alleged father and a child.
What Is Paternity DNA Test
The test is based on the analysis of DNA samples obtained from both individuals, collected by swabbing of the inner surface of the cheeks, which are painless and non-invasive. The samples are then sent to a certified laboratory for analysis. The DNA profiles of the alleged father and the child are compared, focusing on specific genetic markers. If the alleged father is the biological parent, a significant degree of genetic similarity will be observed, confirming paternity.

The best method for determining biological relationships is via DNA tests. The results will show a probability of >99.9% if they are biologically related. If the donors are not biologically related, the results will show a probability of 0%.
Every kit has a unique barcode on it. Once the kit is registered, you can use the Camtech Health app to track the submission status of the returned samples.
No, we provide the return packaging and labels that you need to send us your samples.
Although the Home DNA Test Kit technically works the exact same as the Legal Paternity Test and Immigration Paternity Test, it cannot be used in court. This is because the Legal and Immigration Paternity Test requires the testing parties to go into a laboratory and have their samples collected by a certified individual. This is referred to as a “chain of custody.” A third party laboratory technician, after verifying the identification of the testing parties, will take their samples and submit it for genetic testing.
In the unlikely event there is an issue with your sample, we will contact you immediately at the email or phone number associated with your order.
If the alleged fathers are closely related, then testing both alleged fathers and the biological mother is recommended. However, even if only one of the alleged fathers is available we will still be able to determine or exclude paternity.
Samples are discarded following established guidelines.
